Feliubadaló, has been at Barcelona's emblematic Boqueria Market since the start of the 20th century and commercially established in 1942.
"Salsa Romesco Feliubadaló" sauce, one of the company's landmark products, was a sauce which quickly gained a large loyal public. Its secret formula remains unaltered today, and it has become a classic addition to any good apéritif.
A new sauce was created in early 2013, more in line with current trends and new consumer preferences. A fresher, brighter, more Mediterranean sauce we called "Salsa de Barcelona" in homage to the city and market that inspired its origins.
We created a delicious sauce ideal for a wide range of foods. "Salsa de Barcelona" is perfect for all types of apéritifs, including olives, potato chips, patatas bravas, cockles, mussels and more.
A few drops or a quick squirt brings out flavours and adds a very tasty, special touch.
It enhances condiments, including homemade or store-bought mayonnaise, vinaigrettes, etc. and gives them a more exquisite and unique flavour.
It's also brilliant with all sorts of pasta and rice dishes, salads and vegetables, fish and seafood, meat, soups and anything else you could imagine.
The key to our secret: meticulously selected Mediterranean produce, including vine tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, quality sunflower oil, Balearic Island sea salt and a secret blend of spices, including four types of Madras spices.
